Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information we collect and what we do with it. The short version: we collect what you give us so a local plumber can contact you, we share it with that plumber for that purpose, and we don't sell your information to anyone else.
What we collect
- Contact details you submit: name, phone number, town, and a
description of the work you need, via our form or by phone
- Call information: calls to our number may be recorded for quality
and record-keeping; you'll be told when a call is recorded
- Server logs: like every website, our hosting records standard
technical logs (pages requested, browser type, IP address) used for security monitoring and understanding site traffic
- Abuse prevention: form submissions are logged with the
submitter's IP address and timestamp so we can rate-limit and block fake or abusive requests before they reach a contractor
How we use it
- To match your request with an independent local plumber who covers
your area
- To let that plumber contact you about your job
- To operate and improve the service
Who we share it with
The independent plumbing professional we connect you with; that's the point of the service. We don't sell personal information, and we don't share it with anyone else for their marketing.
How long we keep it
Lead records (your request, contact details, call recordings) are kept while they're useful for operating the business, typically no more than two years, then deleted or anonymized. Server logs rotate out sooner.
Your choices
Contact us any time to ask what we hold about you, correct it, or ask us to delete it. Requests made through the contact form or by phone reach the right place.
Changes
